1st Congress

Hammamet, Tunisia

The first Congress of the World Baseball Softball Confederation was held Hammamet, Tunisia. It was a successful first gathering between baseball and softball federations in the north of Africa. The main item on the agenda was the elections for the executive board. Riccardo Fraccari (Italy) was elected unopposed as first WBSC President for a 7 year term.

2nd Congress

Gaborone, Botswana

Hosted at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) by the Botswana Softball Association (BSA) in conjunction with the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC), the official WBSC Congress general programme began Thursday, 12 October & concluded on Saturday, 14 October. It involved delegates and high-ranking decision-makers from over 130 WBSC National Federations & Associate Members.
